Mid-Hants Railway 40 Years of Galas 1984-2024

The Mid-Hants Railway Watercress Line is nearing 50 year’s in operation from its early services along the three miles to Ropley and then extending to Medstead & Four Marks in 1983 followed by the full 10-mile railway opening between Alresford and Alton in May 1985. This DVD programme celebrates 40 years of galas and special events which have
taken place using archive video material between 1984 and 2024.

 We see dozens of locomotives both steam and diesel at work during Spring and Autumn events plus some extra special ones in between.
